Install Nocticro on your device
Nocticro isn't in the App Store or Play Store yet, but you can still add it to your home screen or dock so it opens full-screen like a real app, with its own icon. Pick your device below.
iPhone & iPad
Must be done in Safari. Chrome and other browsers on iOS aren't allowed to add sites to your home screen.
- Open nocticro.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share icon in the toolbar (a square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner.
Android
Works in Chrome, and most other Android browsers.
- Open nocticro.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen (some phones show this as Install app).
- Tap Install to confirm.
Mac
Works in Safari, Chrome, or Edge.
- Open nocticro.com in Safari.
- When the Open in web app banner appears at the top of the page, click Open.
Missed the banner? Choose File → Add to Dock… instead (or tap the Share icon and choose Add to Dock). Needs macOS Sonoma or later.
- Open nocticro.com.
- Click the install icon at the right edge of the address bar (a small monitor with a down arrow), or open the browser's menu and look for Install Nocticro…
- Click Install.
Windows
Works in Chrome and Edge, which come with install support built in.
- Open nocticro.com in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right edge of the address bar, or open the browser's menu (⋮ in Chrome, … in Edge) and choose Install Nocticro… (Edge shows this under Apps).
- Click Install.
Nocticro then shows up in your Start menu like any other app, and can pin to your taskbar.
Linux
Works the same way in Chrome, Chromium, or Edge.
- Open nocticro.com in Chrome, Chromium, or Edge.
- Click the install icon at the right edge of the address bar, or open the browser's menu and choose Install Nocticro…
- Click Install.
On Firefox? Firefox doesn't currently support installing sites as an app on any platform. Use Chrome, Chromium, or Edge instead, or just bookmark nocticro.com.
