Building in public: Phase 7 of 10

Meet every animal you meet.

Nocticro identifies pets and wildlife from a photo, video, or sound, then teaches you what you're looking at, with honest confidence scores and sources you can check, never a guess dressed up as fact.

One app, every way to identify

Vision, video, and sound, backed by real sources, not just a confident-sounding guess.

Photo identification

Snap or upload a photo to get species, scientific name, and a confidence score in seconds.

Video identification

Record a short clip. Nocticro samples multiple frames for a more confident final answer.

Audio identification

Record a bird song, call, or croak and match it to the species making it.

Chat, per discovery

Ask "is it dangerous?" or "what does it eat?" The assistant remembers what you scanned.

Wildlife & pet profiles

Habitat, diet, temperament, health risks, and safety notes, written to educate, not just impress.

Conservation status

Clear IUCN status on every species, with plain-language context on why it matters.

Exploration map

Every discovery is plotted on your own map, with sensitive locations generalized to protect wildlife.

Collection & rarity

Build your own Nocticro collection, earn badges, and track rare finds based on real-world rarity.

Wildlife, identified honestly

When Nocticro isn't sure, it says so. Under 70% confidence, it asks for another angle instead of guessing, because a wrong answer about a venomous species is worse than no answer at all.

Your pets, understood better

Breed-specific temperament, grooming, exercise needs, and the health issues to actually watch for: the things a vet would tell you, organized in one place.
